Gasket Project

To ensure that two surfaces don't rub against each other, a thin gasket can be placed between them to fill any gaps.

The first step of this project is to ensure all features are accurately measured, which can then be used as the basis for a the SOLIDWORKS part.

Once the file was made in SOLIDWORKS, I uploaded the component into Gibbscam and created a toolpath for the CNC mill.

The gcode was sent to the CNC mill and made sure that the material was properly held, was was cut to the desired dimensions, and deburred

We were challenged to draw a quick sketch of a phone holder with a 2"x2" restriction to then CAD and 3D print, here are the results!
